Aarhus Havn årsag til containerfremgang

De større danske havne håndterede i 2017 i alt 51.000 flere containere end året før. Aarhus Havn havde alene en vækst på 58.000 containere i samme periode. Havnens to containeroperatører kan derfor hævde, at stå for fremgangen på området for hele Danmarks fremgang – og lidt til.

Det viser nye tal fra Danmarks Statistik. Tallene viser også, at containeromsætningen over kaj i Danmark i 2016 var på 764.000 containere, mens den steg til 815.000 containere i 2017. Det svarer til en vækst på 6,67 procent. Hos Aarhus Havn var stigningen på 12,7 procent fra 455.000 containere i 2016 til 513.000 containere i 2017.

Større havne er hos Danmarks Statistik defineret som havne med en årlig godsomsætning på omkring en million tons gods eller mere.
