10 savnes efter kollision ud for Shanghai

Ti søfolk savnes efter at fragtskibet Shun Qiang 2 natten til mandag kolliderede med tankskibet Yong An Lun ud for Shanghai. De savnede var besætningsmedlemmer om bord på Shun Qiang 2 der sank efter kollisionen. Tre besætningsmedlemmer blev reddet.

Shun Qiang 2 var undervejs fra Nanjing til Guangzhou da ulykken indtraf. Skibets last bestod af 3.000 tons stålstænger.

Kinesiske redningsskibe og fly arbejder leder fortsat efter de savnede i området, og oplysningerne omkring ulykken er fortsat sparsomme.

Begge skibe sejlede angivelig under kinesisk flag.
