SSP Technology sacks 70 employees
OFFSHORE: The financial crisis forces SSP Technology to discharge approx. 70 employees. SSP Technology has had progress and high growth for a long time, but order placements and activity level are reduced due to the financial crisis.
"Obviously we are all deeply affected by having to discharge so many fine and loyal employees, but it is at the same time important that we keep cool and think about the future. We will have a group of skilled and competent employees left, who all will help us lead the company on. We have a positive view of the future and look forward to good cooperation with clients and suppliers", says CEO Flemming Sorensen.
SSP Technology A/S has with its current 250 employees for a longer time gone through a series of changes in the organizational structure - all concerning to strengthening the company for the future.
It is not yet decided when the discharges will take place and the company is working with relevant institutions and groups of representatives, including unions and the employee representative, to make the process as efficient as possible.
