Fredericia increases crane capacity
PORTS: Fredericia has taken a new mobile crane in use which will help to improve container handling. The crane has a lifting capacity of 125 tons. Including the new crane, the ADP Port of Fredericia now owns four mobile cranes, each with a lifting capacity of more than 100 tonnes
Fredericia has six weekly departures of container ships and as the ships are getting larger, customers’ demand for efficient handling of containers is increasing exponentially.
Fredericia has experienced a 175% growth rate in container traffic during the last five years.
