Blue Water Shipping employee no. 1.000
SHIPPING SERVICE: 1 August was the day when Blue Water Shipping passed 1000 in number of staff. The same day, nine new colleagues started with Blue Water, which made it necessary to draw lots to choose the "official" no. 1000.
Jes Leegaard Jensen, employed as freight forwarder with Blue Water Aalborg, was the lucky winner.
In addition to a note of congratulation, he was presented with a gift voucher for the football match between AaB and Esbjerg fB scheduled for 23 September 2012.
"Passing 1000 in number of staff is a milestone in Blue Water Shipping's history. In the mid-eighties, we passed number 100, in 2003 the number was 500 and now we have passed 1000", says Managing Director Kurt Skov.
“Naturally, we shall not forget to mention the other eight new employees, who participated in the draw”, Skov says.
