Blue Water active in all Danish ports
MARITIME SERVICE: Blue Water Shipping has decided to extend their port agency activities to cover all Danish ports. This is in part also due to the fact that Blue Water Shipping has been appointed as the Danish representative for the global network of port agents, Multiport.
"With this new structure, Blue Water can offer the most comprehensively covering port agency product in Denmark through own offices. This way, we are always able to offer local expertise 24/7/365, as we are present with own, local staff. We see great opportunity in being an active player in the development of activities in Danish ports", says Søren Stougaard, who is responsible for the Danish port agency activities within Blue Water Shipping
The increase in focus on port agency and port related activities in Denmark has led to the acquisition of Ostship in Grenaa as well as the opening of own offices in Lindoe and Rodby in recent years.
The company's port related activities include port agency, chartering, stevedoring, terminal and warehouse services, and assistance is offered for all types of vessels and cargo related to heavy lift, ro-ro, cruise, oil, gas, wind energy, bulk and reefer. In ports, where Blue Water does not have an own office, we use on a network of reliable and well-known partners.
"The new concept enables our clients to have all their service requirements in connection with port calls covered by one single company. In addition, our strength is that we have comprehensive knowledge, expertise and competence in-house to solve all logistics assignments for the client", says Stougaard.
