  • Optimize vessel operations: Ensure efficient execution of charter agreements, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement to streamline operations.

What you bring

You already have more than 5 years of experience in dry bulk chartering. In your current role, you have demonstrated a strong natural understanding of chartering practices, including negotiation techniques, contract terms, and international maritime law.

People regard you as a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Resilient and solution-oriented, you are a pragmatic problem solver who remains a contributing and positive team player. Given your background, it is likely that you may already be familiar with one or more of your future colleagues, and vice versa.

Needless to say, you are proficient in relevant maritime software (we use Imos/VIP and MS Office). You are fluent in English and, ideally, in Danish as well, and are comfortable with a reasonable number of yearly travel-days (15-30).

What we offer

You will likely find the role familiar based on your experience. And as is the case with many other companies in the maritime industry, we are rather spoiled. But you will for sure find that our company culture is different. Our Culture ambassador is an Octopus – TW Heart. Need to say more?

We operate with a flat hierarchy, our decision-making processes are not slow, and the responsibility and autonomy-level are high for everyone. And during summer, it’s common to see your colleagues wearing casual shorts in the office.

So, if you are ambitious – want to give that little extra, curious, open-minded, and ready to contribute to the team in one of the oddest (coolest) names in the maritime industry, please do not hesitate to reach out.

You can apply here by uploading your CV and either a short motivation or short introduction video (max. 1 minute). If you have any questions you can reach out to Head of Navi Merchants, Morten Peder Jensen, morten.peder@navimerchants.com / +45 3092 1390 or Simon Bach, simon.bach@copmer.com / +45 6013 1010 – Organization & People.
